A visit to Canberra Deep Space Communication Complex and The Cotter Dam made Behan Webster a happy chappie. NASA looks good on him!.
-
Behan Webster didn't even mind turning off his devices!!!
-
One of only 3 world sites, the other two are in Spain and USA.
-
A smaller one... I listened really quietly but didn't hear ET
-
I thought it was a snow suit from Canada but apparently not
-
Then he bought me lunch
-
The menu was extensive... NOT
-
See a happy chappie
-
I loved the patterns formed on the back of the big dish thingy.
-
We moved on to the Cotter Dam, a feat of engineering
-
I thought it had sprung a leak but it hadn't
-
Beyond the dam was just a stream
-
The textures in the area were wonderful.
-
Coming from England I am used to wire cages full of rocks as sea defence but here it is also a design feature. SET THEM FREE... poor rocks
